Dr. Nasr is a part of the R&D team in the Egyptian National Telecommunications Regulatory Authority (NTRA). The NTRA is considered as the highest telecommunications regulatory authority in Egypt. He is leading an ambitious program to stimulate research activities in the field of telecommunications in the Egyptian universities and research institutes.
