Cairo University has announced the winners of its awards for year 2010 which are classified as: Appreciation, Distinction, Scientific Excellence, and Innovation (See details published at Cairo University portal). Dr. Mohamed RIAD - Professor of Electronics at the EECE Department has shared the 2010 Cairo University Award for Innovation with Dr. Mostafa SHEHATA (of the Faculty for Antiquities).

All members of the EECE Department congratulate Dr. RIAD for this great achievement, and wish him continued success and more candid work towards the deployment of Applied Electronics in all aspects of life in Egypt. We also wish that other Faculty of EECE Department continue to win national and international recognition in the Electronics and Electrical Communications Specializations.
