EECE Team is acknowledged for designing the 1st Egyptian Microprocessor

The daily News Paper - ElShorouk - has published an article on the efforts undertaken by a team of researchers at the EECE Department to develop the 1st Egyptian Microprocessor. Efforts started 2004 and culminated in the CUSPARC (Cairo University SPARC Processor). Professor Serag HABIB led the EECE Team which included Eng. Amr ABDEL-ZAHER, Eng. ElHassan FATIN, and Eng. Ezz-el-Deen SOLIMAN. It was fabricated by IBM, with donation from the University of Southern California (USA).
